Learning to play the piano offers students the rare combination of having fun while developing a skill that will benefit the student throughout their life. Every student has different goals, strengths and weaknesses; it's my job to tailor each lesson using proven, effective and creative methods to meet the specific needs and desires of the student. Dustin is an amazing, passionate and patient piano instructor. Clearly he is doing what he loves and doing it well. My daughter loves her weekly sessions and has truly learned more than I could have imagined in the past 10 months. Sessions are always individualized to her learning path and he keeps it fun and interesting.

Dustin is a very comprehensive piano teacher. He is incredibly enthused with music and especially the piano. He has higher expectations than her previous two piano teachers. He pushes her not only to learn the notes and rhythms, but to create expressive music. His studio is very relaxing, and his music theory instruction is also very beneficial.

We have found an enthusiastic and passionate piano mentor. Dustin Stephens has a quality for applying technical theory over just the reading printed music so his students can play with the same passion. He is excellent at drawing the best out of his student because of his desire for them to do their best. His love for the piano is evident in his interaction with his students by making each lesson a fun as well as learning experience. If you are looking for an instructor in the San Antonio area, I could recommend no better.
