  They stock and are familiar with bike types that other local shops do very little with. Beside their road, mountain and urban bikes, they also are stocking dealers for ebikes (several different kinds), recumbent bikes and trikes.

  I bought my trike there, nearly a 3 thousand dollar investment, and the advice and candid counseling that was provided cut through the BS, and pointed out the best choice for me. I came in to the shop with one thing in mind, but was repointed to a different product (Catrike Expedition) and am thoroughly happy with the choice. They are experts in their field and provide fantastic follow up service!

  What a bike shop ought to be! Looking for a bike for someone who hadn't ridden in several years. More than one staff member was helpful in making recommendations and taking the time to answer all our questions -- without any pressure to buy! Suggested test riding as many as we wanted! Thank you, The Bike Center!

  Want a group of people who love cycling - want to help you make the right choices - and have the best tuning program in the city?
  
  This is the only place.
  
  I mean it .. I bought a bike from the Bike Center ( and any real bike these days is an investment ) and they helped me make the right choice - and their $75 fee for ongoing tune ups is a steal.
  
  Been to the others - pass them by - and check these guys out first !

  I have purchased two bikes from Brian at the shop this month. One was a gift for my mom and she absolutely loved it. An Electra single speed cruiser.
  The other was a bike for my son. We went in the shop three different times. (My son is four and has a huge personality will show a wide range of emotions in a very short time as some four year olds do!). Two of the times my son broke down in tears. Third time was an all happy smiles visit. Each time Brian was super helpful and super patient with my son. He talked to him like a person and treated us both so nicely. It's hard to find good customer service like that these days.
  I'm sure we will be back soon for more purchases!
