  Just had Rick over this morning. Knowledgeable, efficient, and honest, which is really all you need for a chimney sweep. I had a different company come to my house last year that said I'd need to replace my whole gas log set ($$$$) in the next year or so, but I was skeptical after a little bit of research online. Rick confirmed my set was fine, everything was in working order, and we're safe for fireplace season.

  Giving these folks 5 stars even though we never even got to the inspection phase. Terri gave me some great free advice over the phone that significantly helped our house hunt. Since then, I've mentioned her name to a couple other people in the biz who say they have taken seminars from Terri, and that she is very knowledgeable and informative. Couldn't agree more.

  Great job cleaning out the fireplace and chimney and great advice to upgrade our fireplace burner before we start to use it.
  
  And Rick took great care in our home, inside and out. Everything was literally clean as a whistle - the fireplace, floors, rug, mantle, etc! Was a chimney sweep just here?
  
  He was friendly and courteous, even after a long day.

  I called the office on July 3rd, a very friendly lady answered the phone. Made an appointment for July 5th at 10AM to clean our chimney. Promptly at 10 am Rick Pocock (owner), showed up at our door. He was a no-nonsense kind of guy. Inspected the fireplace, said it looked pretty clean, but a few cracks needed caulking, it was included in the inspection. He climbed on the roof, to inspect the chimney, said it was clean. He cleaned the spark arrestor and replaced it again. Very friendly and professional. Good to know a family owned business; I will definitely call them again. Very reasonable inspection fee too :-).

  We don't have a fireplace, however, I hired Rick to clean out my dryer vent as I was getting new appliances. I was very impressed by how professional, courteous and friendly he was. He did an amazing job of not only changing out the vent but also of cleaning up when the job was completed. His price was very reasonable. I will recommend him to all my friends and will definitely have him check my dryer vent occasionally to ensure that it is clean and not a fire hazard. Great Job.
