Because we are a small practice, we pride ourselves on delivering highly personal, accommodating, family-centered care to your children. This dedication exists at all levels of encounters: from phone calls to checking in, from nursing assistance to physician time, we strive to provide service of the highest quality.
Dr. Cantrell continues today to practice behavioral medicine at the Summit Center treating children and young adults with school, behavioral, attentional, and other related problems. He was founder and director of Cobb Pediatric Neuroeducational Center in 1996. Within his over 25 years of full-time pediatric practice he continues to practice in the Neuroeducational Behavioral field. He routinely lectures for the Cobb County School System on ADHD and related behavioral problems. Read more

Dr. Cantrell is a specialist for ADHD, which is rare for a pediatrician. His nurse practitioner, Robin, is knowledgable about all age groups. They both have great recommendations for parents with kids of all abilities.

He explains everything in detail, asks questions as if he's - dare I say it? - actually interested, and provides helpful insight. He has an excellent manner with kids, is exceptionally knowledgeable, and the referral another provider gave us to his practice was a blessing.

Dr. Cantrell is an awesome pediatrician. He gives great advice for parents in need of guidance and can save you money by suggesting an over the counter remedy if a prescription medicine is not needed. Staff is polite and professional, the office is super clean and kid friendly. Can say enough great things about this place. A++
