  I had a more complex tax return last year due to working part time out of state as independent consultant and sale of rental house. My previous CPA refused service, leaving with no tax preparer! I was lucky I found Sumi. She was patient and did research to give pertinent and valuable advice. She is very easy to work with and very competent and her fee is accessible. I highly recommend Sumi.

  I have had Sumi Elangovan prepare my taxes since 2013. She has helped facilitate both my single filing and joint filing after marriage. It has been a blessing having a trustworthy, reliable, and most importantly, efficient, CPA to work with. I have usually filed all of my paperwork by mid-February with Sumi and she promptly returns the following documents within, at times, a single business day (if not less):

  Tax Summary and Instructions for Filing
  
  She prepares them professionally and simply. When adjustments arise or new documents are added she expeditiously amends the form and graciously updates you and always keeps you abreast of timelines...

  Sumi completely saved me with our taxes last year! I was frantic, behind, and overwhelmed when i reached out to her 10 days before the extension deadline. She generously offered to help me despite the approaching deadline and she calmly led me through the complications of my filing. I have a small business and had many questions which she answered with patience and offered me tax advice about future filings as my business grows.
  
  I especially appreciate her organization and clarity - she told me exactly what to bring and when, how to categorize my expenses, and explained the process to me every step of the way, including how to proceed in future years. I'm so grateful to her for her patience and organization!

  Sumi is an amazing CPA!! We struggled for years finding a CPA that would give us, personal attention and answer our questions about taxes. We have a small business and her help with taxes has been invaluable! She even helps us with silly questions about quickbooks. I finally feel confident in our CPA and understanding what needs to be done with taxes for our business. We even moved out of state and will still use her as our CPA...she is that good!
