Spoke is a great locally-owned business situated on the LA River bike path. They have an amazing cafe and a bike shop which offers rentals. It's the best weekend post-ride destination.

They're the best! Dane and Juan are the most knowledgeable mechanics around and they have a great rental selection.

They've always been honest about what my bike needs and never do more work than necessary.

Spoke is totally unique, superb food and coffee, live entertainment and events, as well as a full service bike shop. In the bike shop is where Dane works. If you need a repair or just want to talk bikes, no one is better than Dane.

Chill, interesting place. Very relaxed atmosphere. Doesn't even feel like you're in LA. Especially good if you're into biking, but you need not be. The food, local microbrews, and espresso are worth the visit. Live music was a nice touch.

Great shop along Los Angeles River - a well kept secret bike path through a section of river with dirt bottom and vegetation!

I came here with a large group of friends and they were able to assist us on our bike rental journey. It's an awesome place to catch a bike ride, big or small followed by a quick breakfast or lunch. The vibe there is nice. When I went there, Live performers happen to be there. People were very welcoming.

an oasis if you’ve been out in the saddle for awhile. i feel comfortable leaving my bike unlocked while i order food inside. haven’t had any service done here but it would appear as though they have all the tools and equipment to get any job done. however new bike and apparel sales seem to be limited.

prices i would say are on par with similar establishments especially considering the convenience factor of being right off the bike path. highly recommend checking this place out.

I've been visiting Spoke for a couple years watching Laurie and Rich grow this place into what is definitely the coolest spot along the river. Dane the bike guy is one of a kind - his free bike spiels are priceless. The aesthetics are organic and non-contrived. My favorite feature is being able to pick out your own records to play on the turntable. And now they are serving tap beer and great food. Today I ordered their veggie burger. DELICIOUS!! Without hyperbole, I say this is the best veggie burger I've ever had.

the only bicycle shop cafe in Los Angeles where the beers are served with the LA river right there; a great stop on any LA River bike path ride. i've been to the super secret soft opening a couple of times and tried a range of items on the two page menu including the black goat toast (smashed blackberries, goat cheese) and a bunch of stuff of tap including cider, kombucha, and the beers. see you there
