Mike is the real deal. Friendly, funny, knowledgeable, and thorough. My wife and I are/were house buying neophytes until a few days ago when we closed on our first house. We booked Mike for the initial inspection and also for a secondary inspection at the final walk-through. He knows Chicago building code like the back of his hand, and he takes the time to explain and educate you on anything and everything that you may or may not understand. Even the smallest of details, he takes the time to explain the short-term and long-term implications of the issue/repair/feature/etc... As long as he is available, I will book Mike for every home inspection I ever do in Chicago for the rest of my life.

Mike is a true pro- he's VERY thorough. You will know exactly what issues you'll be looking at when you purchase a new (or old) home. We hired Mike to inspect our 70 year old home before we bought. He was extremely honest, and we know what issues will pop up as time goes on. Very highly recommend.
