  These guys were the hit of our wedding! We had the River City Stompers play for our cocktail hour and boy are we happy they did! We had a five piece band come play for one hour and then escort us and all of our guests to the reception in a "First Line" New Orleans type parade! ... I was thankful that we found these guys and how helpful Rachel was throughout our planning process. She really went above and beyond to ensure that we got exactly what we wanted which really put me at ease. I truly enjoyed them the day of our wedding and can't wait to hire them for our next great party!

  We contacted South Texas Jazz to play at both our wedding ceremony and reception and worked with Dr. Brent Watkins. Dr. Watkins is great to work with and can't say enough about how responsive he was with all our requests and inquiries. We ended up having their River City Stompers Jazz Trio play and they did an amazing job and couldn't imagine not having them there. They even learned a custom vintage tune just for our recessional!! All of my guests loved them. If you are looking for something unique for your event look no further. Thank you Dr. Watkins and South Texas Jazz!

  St. Vincent and the Grenadines is as close to the vintage Jazz era as you can get: rip-booming brass, rich and smooth vocals, spider-finger piano, tireless energy, and seeming perfection of performance they are the only choice for San Antonio area jazz. They have mastered the standards of the genre, but each band member is very approachable and congenial, whether in welcoming requests or chatting during breaks. The band is a model of professionalism, and extremely flexible. They were the highlight of our wedding reception.
