Ever since Tim Hannon met his first Macintosh in 1984, he’s been hooked. Skilled in supporting all versions of the Mac operating system and every Mac model, Tim has the rare ability to explain the technology in plain English. He relishes the challenge of a complex problem, yet equally enjoys teaching novice users about application features and keyboard shortcuts that enhance their productivity and efficiency. What’s more, he’ll involve you as much or as little as you’d like in the process.

Tim is a certified member of the Apple Consultant Network. He is an Apple Certified Support Professional for nearly all versions of Mac OS X from version 10.3 (Panther) to the OS X 10.11 (El Capitan). He also has his Certified Wireless Technology Specialist certification.

    Tim is the ideal tech consultant. He knows hardware, software, what's current and what is coming down the road. He responds in a timely manner to requests for assistance and I know tries very hard to solve the issue via the phone asap when you are in a crisis. Best of all he keeps an eye to prevention by setting up systems that work and teaching you carefully how best to operate them. His pricing is fair and he is most generous with his time and talent. I can't recommend him highly enough.

    For several years we have been using Sound Support to keep two older Macbook Pro's alive until such time as we are ready to replace them. Tim has helped us network those with a PC, iPads, phones, using Microsoft 365, various networking situations and all sorts of troubleshooting. We initially found Tim when we had Mac networking issues that no one else could solve, and an old apple server. Tim helped migrate us off the server and into the cloud, move offices twice and everything is working smoothly. He is an amazing problem solver and trouble-shooter. His process is transparent, so you always know what the risk/benefit equation is with any proposed fix. He is smart, communicative, professional, cost-effective and trustworthy. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

His knowledge of the issues that can affect the performance of our computing environment is always spot-on, and his ability to diagnose and fix these issues quickly has saved us countless hours of research, trial-and-error, and frustration.     For more than a year, Tim Hannon at Sound Support and Solutions has been providing technical support to our office on 5-6 people, with 6 Mac laptops, plus a full compliment of iPhones, monitors, printers, iPads, and other technical devices.     Tim's friendly, authentic, low-key style is a perfect persona for a techie who often has to talk a frantic Mac user off a ledge. And his deep and broad knowledge of all things Apple enhances the trust factor further. Tim is also superbly organized; if he doesn't respond immediately (when it's not an emergency), you can rest assured it's because he's doing his research and you'll get a clear, thorough response in due time. I trust Tim completely; so glad to have him on my "team."
