  My husband and I highly recommend Sophia as a dance instructor! We took 10 classes with her to learn a first dance for our wedding and she is a phenomenal teacher. She choreographed the perfect dance for us and taught us the necessary moves to feel confident and have fun. She is a very patient and kind hearted teacher who clearly loves sharing her passion of dance with her students. If you are looking to improve your dancing skills, while having fun in the process, Sophia is the teacher for you!

  Sophia, our ballroom dance instructor, is fabulous. My wife and I have been taking private classes with her for a year now. Sophia is very patient and teaches at our pace. Had two left feet when I started and now I know Rhumba, Salsa, East Coast Swing, Tango, Foxtrot, Cha Cha, and Waltz. We bounce between dances depending upon our mood, and Sophia doesn't mind at all. Highly recommend for anyone, of any skill level, who wants to learn a new dance or just get better. Thanks Sophia, look forward to many more lessons.

  Sophia has been an outstanding ballroom dance instructor! She works hard to break it down so it's easy and fun. I've never danced before but after just a few sessions, Sophia had already taught me and my husband several basic steps in a variety of dances. We will definitely keep learning from her!

  My fiance and I about a month before our wedding realized we wanted to squeeze in a series of lessons before our wedding. We had no experience and had picked a song most people had never heard. ... With only 30 minutes of combined practice outside of lessons, by the 4th lesson we were completing the whole dance on our own exactly to the music. Yana flexed to our unusual schedules and met with us 4 times in 3 weeks, in the evening and on weekends. She was very easy to reach also if we had to change anything. Every class was incredibly fun thanks to Yana's easy going and fun teaching style, and my fiance and I actually got even closer through the process.

  From the very first lesson, Sophia was quick to adapt her teaching to my learning style, and she exuded positive energy. Over time, I had occasion to see Sophia with other students, and how different her lessons were with each student, depending on their needs. I never bought lessons in advance, so I never felt committed to taking lessons, but I kept coming back every week for 2 years -- and I am taking my first break for the moment because I'm taking a sabbatical. I consider Sophia a friend, in addition to a truly unique and wonderful dance instructor.
