We asked Jason to build us a new set of basement stairs while increasing the head clearance above for the staircase from 5'6" to 6'6". This was a challenging task, as it basically asks for inventing multiple cubic feet of room where there is none. Jason cleverly hid the new head clearance within a built-in bench that fits seamlessly with the traditional styling of our vintage craftsman home. All the work Jason and his team did for us was very well crafted - I've caught myself, dozens of times, staring at our new staircase for minutes just to admire his work.
I highly recommend Jason Siri and Siri Construction for the particularly challenging construction jobs that come along with repairing and remodeling Portlands vintage homes. Jason is intelligent, knowledgeable, articulate, detailed oriented and incredible competent as a construction contractor. His workers were all excellent. I get the sense that he really love what he does, and it shows in his results. I can't say enough good things about Siri Construction. -

Jason and his crew are smart, respectful, and perform quality work. They did a huge remodel for us including both interior and exterior work and while it did go a bit over budget, the communication was good and the finished results were stunning.
