  These ladies did a wonderful job with my wedding dress. They were extremely careful and thorough with a delicate job. It's also a lovely, friendly environment.
  
  The job took about 9 weeks start to finish with 4 fittings + pickup, but if I'd needed it in a rush I'm sure they could have done it faster. I recommend giving them several weeks with complicated jobs though. I was able to easily schedule and re-schedule appointments around my workday. I will be back next time I need something altered!

  I've never written a YELP review before, but I had to write this one. I brought my wedding dress to a tailor and did the regular multiple fittings. She did a good job on the skirt, but was not able to fit the bodice to me and claimed it was impossible to alter given the boning and bead and lace overlay. ... They initially told me it would be ready the day before my wedding... but actually called me in early and had it done in just 3.5 days! The dress fit perfectly and they charged a very reasonable price for the alterations. Thanks so much Silhouette's and Profiles for rescuing my dress, for your expert alteration skills, and for allowing me to feel beautiful and confident on my wedding day!

  I cant express how much I love this small little tailor shop. These ladies are artists.
  
  ... Irina went to the fashion district on her own and searched for a zipper that would work. The dress came out more beautiful than it looked on the model. It was just gorgeous.
  
  These ladies are the best. If they say they can do it, they can do it. And if they advise you on how to do something, believe me you want to take their advice. They go above and beyond and I cant thank them enough! Im heading over there in a few minutes to pick up another gown and I can't wait to see it on :)

  The women at Silhouettes & Profiles are nothing short of magic. They took a wedding dress that I bought at a sample sale and completely remade it to look like a custom gown. It started out tattered with literal holes and was at least six sizes too big. They worked tirelessly on it until it was perfect, fixing every little flaw. They even altered what was a long, dramatic cape, into the perfect veil. They're not just good at what they do, they are passionate about it. I highly recommend them for any tailoring needs; large or small.

  Had an amazing 10 star experience w Anna doing work on my gown. Brought in a gown that hasn't fit me for years but I always kept bc it was so beautiful. I thought, maybe I'll just chop it into a long skirt but Anna disagreed and wanted to help me save the dress. After only one fitting, she worked her magic and added 2 inches to the waistline of the dress. She bought extra leather detailing for the dress and added it completely seamlessly. I'm so happy with my dress and her amazing, beautiful work. Thank you!
