I enjoy guiding students in their efforts to learn difficult topics. I am passionate about teaching, motivating, and encouraging my students while building their self-confidence. I founded SFTutors - a local, independent math tutoring organization - in 2005, and I authored the GMAT Math Workbook through Barron's Educational Series.
My diverse professional background in engineering, finance and math tutoring gives me a distinct outlook as an educational practitioner. My experience helps me clarify complex concepts in variety of ways to make them accessible for my students. Read more

Ender is very knowledgeable and patient. He tutored me in calculus my senior year of high school. He always knew how to solve a problem and would approach it from various viewpoints to help me come to understand it better. He made me forget that my math tutoring was studying - he made it fun. I would highly recommend Ender as a tutor.

I had a great experience with Ender. As a struggling AP Calculus AB student, I really benefited from a one-on-one tutoring experience, and Ender was one of the best tutors I could have had. He taught me better methods for solving the tougher problems, and I really felt that he was there to support me every step of the way, right up to my final! He's also just a really cool guy. I highly recommend him!

My two sons have been going to Ender for their entire high school careers--and he is simply put, the best! I was referred to him when my son was in a crisis--literally flunking Pre-Calculus and in danger of getting an F for the semester. My son was reluctant to go to a tutor, but Ender said--"look, you will know if this is helping in just a few sessions," and he was right. ...
