Sender One Climbing LAX

Climbing Gym

We promise to commit ourselves to offering every customer, partner, and guest who walks through our doors (or whom we meet outside of our doors) an inspiring climbing and fitness experience, an opportunity for self-discovery, and a sharing, social atmosphere.

Sender One’s origin is the story of what indoor rock climbing means to each of the founders—Wes Chu, Alice Kao, and Wes Shih. For each of them, indoor rock climbing was an avenue for self-discovery and a wellspring for the community during transitional times in their lives. Read more

This gym has the tallest wall and longest lead climbing routes in the area and possibly California. They also have great bouldering and a top notch training area. Their kids programs are great as well!

Sender One LAX is a supreme climbing gym with exceptional staff members. They are always re-setting routes and offering classes to help your progress as a climber. They are there to help and guide you if needed or just to give you encouragement on one of your projects. The facility is well maintained and I love the fact they are open until 11pm Mon - Fri!

First class for my 6 y/o and he's super excited and the staff is super nice. Brand new facility with tons of climbing space. Sender City for the little ones/open play / parties looks really great and one of the other parents here had great things to say, we'll put that on our agenda.

Two boulders, 60 foot lead climb routes, clean air (no chalk dust), friendly staff, clean locker rooms, basic traditional gym area, kids are sectioned off in their own space (which is very nice). Only complaint: 'tis quite expensive for a membership, but the free hand lotion in the men's restroom makes up for the cost.

This gym has HUGE walls! We took my niece and nephew to Sender City where they had fun kids climbs, a ladder to an outcropping where you then jump to a punching bag a-lá Ninja Warrior, and a big metal slide that they drop you from. So much fun! For the adults, there is a nice, appropriately rated top-out boulder on the second story (!) And a lot more bouldering on the bottom floor. I didn't do any top roping or lead climbing, but that looked insane. We, unfortunately, had to leave in a hurry due to the children and forgot to get our discounted 5-punch card, though.
