They REALLY know their boots and have a GREAT apprenticeship program. If they are hiring a new bootfitter, they can’t even touch a foot or boot for the first year while they learn the trade!

The best boot fitter around. Period. Buy boots from them, and they'll adjust them as many times as needed to get things right. I've gone back years after purchasing boots and they made adjustments for free. Plus they really, really know their stuff.

We recently stopped in to Salter's to purchase skis for my son as a Christmas present. We were immediately greeted by a huge smile from Tracy. She took us to meet with Will who was very patient with my husband & I in picking out the right ski for our son. He was extremely knowledgeable and spent a great deal of time with us in picking out the right ski and boots. The customer service was excellent and by the time we left we felt as if we were part of the Salter family. I would highly recommend them!

I share the same feeling as many locals that deal with this shop. If you're serious about hitting the slopes, this is by far the best place around for expert advice & service. They have the knowledge and experience to accommodate skiers of all levels. Been dealing with these great people for many years. I highly recommend Salters :)

Best boot fitters in the country! I ski alot, I mean alot... 60-135 days a year. I wore out my 1st set of Salter's boots after 5 years and got fitted for a second. I can't tell the difference between these new boots and my bedroom slippers. I'm a ski instructor and a die hard skier that heli skis, back country skis and cat skis. I've skied Alaska, Colorado, Utah, Oregon Arizona New Mexico, Montana, Washington, Idaho, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, New York, Pennsylvania and Canada (Red, Whistler Backcomb, Banff, Sunshine, Lake Louise, Kicking Horse, Fernie) If you want the best fit stop by Salter's for your slipper boots! Seriously!
