  Kat is a great instructor! We took a series of 5 classes with her to choreograph our wedding dance (bachata and salsa). We already knew some basics and had a general idea of what we wanted to do, so Kat helped us to put together all the elements of the dance. She also worked with us to improve some specific salsa/bachata basics, which helped not just with our wedding dance but with social dancing as well. Kat is really good at envisioning the dance, making the elements and choreography flow with the music and follow its ups and downs. We ended up with a two-part dance with lots of turns and some dips, so can't wait to actually show it off at the wedding.

  I'm scared of partner dancing, but I wanted to at least learn enough to be able to have fun dancing with a friend at a party. I took a lesson with Kat, explaining that I didn't exactly know what I wanted, other than to enjoy the lesson and become more confident that I could have more fun dancing with a partner afterwards. Kat made it super enjoyable and I got through way more in the time than I'd expected. I even relaxed and laughed a lot. I'll definitely be going back! Thanks Kat!

  Working with Kat was absolutely amazing. She is a wonderful teacher and was able to work with us based on our skill sets, song type, and overall dance that we wanted. She is very accommodating to busy schedules and such a joy to work with. Super engaging and funny! Thank you Kat for helping make our wedding dance everything we wanted it to be and more. We will recommend anyone who wants to make their first dance as memorable and fun as ours was.
