Cared for by a team! I was feeling uncomfortable in my own hair after taking my light brown hair to a light bleach blonde. I showed up at Salon Vela with a picture and a dream to be back to my 'normal' self, and they delivered. Maria totally nailed it, and I loved the team energy there. Ron was there to consult with Maria on a plan, and Simon managed to work me in last minute. As it happens, I had seen both Ron and Angela in prior years, but after moves on everyone's part it became geographically difficult so I had moved salons. I'm happy to have found them again (thanks, Google!) at Salon Vela, and will definitely be coming back! I have every confidence they'll be taking good care of me.

I have been going to Ron and Simon since 1989! They run their salon with complete professionalism and integrity. Not to mention that I get compliments on my hair color constantly!

... It was super chic and the atmosphere was very inviting--even the gal at the front (Maria I think) was super helpful even though I think she's actually stylist and not the receptionist. Chris was amazing and recommended a protein treatment for my hair that was well worth the money--my hair looks fantastic! I ABSOLUTELY recommend this salon (especially Chris!) to anyone!

They managed to squeeze me and my friend in just before a wedding. Maria did an awesome braid job on my hair. The staff were incredibly friendly, the place was clean and chic, and the work reasonably priced. Their coffee was amazing too, surprisingly. I definitely recommend this place, but management please give Maria a step stool. Poor girl was on her tip-toes half the time.

From start to finish, the entire staff was so kind and accommodating. Maria did my hair and she was amazing and really took her time to pay attention to detail to get my hair the way I wanted. She even took out extra time to curl my hair after I was done and was happy to help when I threw in an eyebrow wax at the last minute. Would highly recommend this salon and Maria!
