As a college student, they have helped out loads with having an affordable membership and accessible gym. I can always count on heading to Rock Spot after a long day of classes or work and climb until the clock strikes midnight.
Our leadership team went there to do some physical team building exercise. It was fun and exhaustive (for our hands). They have friendly staff who guides you throughout.Original recommendation
Great for kids as well I imagine. Don't fear falling down - they have got it covered.
Just reach home from rock climbing. It was my first time doing something like this so I was very excited. The lady at the front desk was the sweetest of them all but can't remember her name. All I could remember is that she just move to Boston 5 or 6 months ago.Original recommendation
For me it wasn't as easy as it looks but after a hour or two I finally made it to the top. The kids that go there are well trained and didn't need much help making it to the top at all. There was this one girl around the age of six to eight that went up the wall four times blindfolded. Simple amazing, young and talented.
I really enjoyed this spot would definitely go back one of these days with a friend hopefully.
Came here with my BF for an all day pass that came with rentals (includes harness and shoes). We were greeted briefly by Kim and she gave us a brief 10 minute run down of the rules. Very helpful and throughout!Original recommendation
Boy and I were new to rock climbing and I'm terrified of heights. The hardest thing for me was learning to let go of the harness and trust. Trust that I won't die.
Overall, had a blast! Will definitely come back! Potentially can be my next new hobby :)
I am a beginner climber with a 10 year old daughter. The staff is incredibly supportive of climbers at our level (though my daughter is quickly leaving me behind in her trail of chalk dust). I have received lots of helpful hints about training, route problems, etc.Original recommendation
