  Heather is like a fairy godmather when she gets her hands on my hair. I feel like a brand new person when she is done doing her magic.

  Heather was recommended by two close friends and I am so glad they did. I am not the best about knowing what I want and she is happy to guide me in the right direction. In addition to cuts, I have also had highlights and love how they look. Highly recommended!

  By a happy accident, (I admired a woman's haircut in a restaurant and she recommended Susan here but Susan was leaving for a trip so she passed me on to Sam. Susan came highly recommended but now I was two generations away from my admiration. That kind of hand-me-down can go south unless you can trust the integrity of the shop. Know what I mean?) anyway, I was desperate enough to give Sam a whirl and I'm so glad I did. First, know that I'm completely spoiled by my old cutter in LA. But, and I am embarrassed to admit this, I haven't been there with enough time for a cut since July 2015. Can you imagine how raggedy I was looking? I've been standing outside looking in shop windows in Portland for over a year trying to find a good cutter. Sam took her time, (she's a perfectionist) and she's REALLY good at shags. Another thing I really liked about her was she didn't pressure me to do color. Didn't even mention it. Somehow she made me look less gray without color. She's magic. I already scheduled my next appointment. I found my Portland cutter!

  I have a 3 year old with super curly hair. I couldn't find anyone who could cut it and make it look cute. I have a curly haired friend who has Heather cut her hair, so we gave her a try. She is amazing with my little girl's hair (and amazing with my little girl, too)! It's never looked so cute! She was able to tame the mullet (b/c the back of her hair grows faster), and it even looked good when it started to grow out! I'll not be taking her anywhere else!

  Such a refreshing salon. Simple clean relaxing environment. Brianna made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I walked out feeling good and looking great.
