I'm currently 24 weeks into my first pregnancy, and I am so glad I chose River Place OB/GYN for my maternity care. Dr. Thoppil and staff are wonderful and I have only had positive experiences!

Dr. Thoppil has been excellent at handling my sometimes crazy "first time mom" panicked moments, and is never judgmental. He listens to each concern, and even when I'm not in the office, is great about responding quickly to questions in the patient portal. I also appreciate that he is honest and thorough each visit, as does my husband. Since he will be delivering my baby boy next year, it is a great feeling to know you are in incredibly competent hands! -

Dr. Thoppil is very knowledgeable and personable. I would highly recommend him!!! He is one of the very few that addresses all your concerns without seeming rushed or in a hurry. He really listens to you and makes sure you get the best healthcare there is. Can't say enough about how incredible and professional the entire staff is, it's a very positive atmosphere.

This is my first visit, chose this office due to location and word of mouth from friends and rave reviews. They take 5:00 pm appointments which is a great draw for me as their office is between home and work. Score. Great experience with Dr. Shepherd and staff as well, had to come back next morning at 7am for blood draw while fasting. Not a problem, on the way to work! I had questions about insurance coverage for blood draw (they do right in office-another great convenience) and Dr. Thoppil stepped in and answered everything I needed. Very happy patient!

Had an appointment today for my annual exam... my first time to this office. Very gracious reception and nursing staff. The doctor was friendly and calm, took time to answer my questions... I didn't feel like my apt was a distraction to his busy day! While I can't say it's like this every time, today I had no wait times from the time I arrived to the end of my visit.

I'm not very comfortable with doctors' offices and so I typically put visits off. I don't think this will be a visit that I dread in the future. -

It's always scary when you go to a new doctor because you don't know what to expect, but my visit with Dr. Thoppil went really smooth, judgement free and really fast. I would highly recommend him!
