The comprehensive eye examination is our only way to diagnose and treat eye conditions and diseases before they become symptomatic, and before vision is permanently threatened. It is that all patients have this examination done once per year. For those who have less than perfect vision capabilities, we offer our full-service optical department and spectacle laboratory or our services in fitting with the latest soft or rigid contact lens designs.
Our in-office contact lens laboratory enables us to fit even the most difficult cases, utilizing custom fit rigid gas permeable lenses to correct higher prescriptions of nearsightedness, farsightedness or astigmatism. Our doctors are also certified and experienced with corneal reshaping technology, which can offer the right candidate excellent uncorrected vision without glasses or daytime contact lenses. Read more

The staff here are extremely genuine and very patient!!!! I tried on glasses for over an hour to find the best one for me, and everyone was happy to help. I would specifically like to thank the Optician, Matthew, for his assistance. He gave me a lot of good information to help me understand the pros and cons of each pair and broke down all of the pricing to me in a way that was clear. Also, he didn't push me to go for the most expensive pairs. He was sincere, helpful, and funny and made my experience wonderful!

Wonderful experiences here. This has been my Optometry office for over 6 years and has been the greatest experience I've ever had. The doctors and staff are extremely knowledgeable and courteous. They explain everything and offer all the options available. I love the semi-rigid lenses I have. My partner loves his glasses. I highly recommend this office to all of my friends and family.

Great staff! When I first came here two years ago, I wanted contacts. Turns out I was difficult to fit. The staff and doc were very accommodating and work with me for months to find a brand that fit. Once we found one that worked, the ordering was very easy. Since then, I switch often between contacts and glasses and the staff has been great. They have no problem getting lenses for frames that I bring in, even switched the lenses from a frame I broke into the new frame without an appointment.

They have early appointments, 7am, which really help avoid missing work. I would highly recommend River City Optometry. -

I have been a patient for years and if it's even possible, their service is getting better by the minute. The staff are incredibly gracious and helpful. The office is inviting and comfortable. And they have PARKING!! Who doesn't love that living in downtown/midtown Sacramento. Totally recommend River City Doctors of Optometry to everyone! You won't regret it.

I can't say enough about Dr. Rembleski, Jen and the rest of the staff at River City Doctors of Optometry. They have given me first rate eye care for over 15 years now and they make me feel like family when I'm there. My vision requires quite a bit of correction and because of them, I'm able to wear extended wear contacts that make life much more comfortable. I'm not sure I can ever let them know how important they are to me. I have been wearing glasses since 9 month old and have never been better cared for. If you are looking for a new optometrist, you have just found the right place in my opinion. If any other health care that I require can be on this level, I'll never have to worry. Cheers RCDO!
