Our main focus is bicycle repair ranging from flat fixes and small adjustments to tune-ups and full restorations. Even though we encourage fixing up old bikes, we also offer new bicycles from Surly, All City, Soma Fabrications, Kona, Vassago, Handsome, and many more. Met these people doing their weekly night rides and was introduced to new trail systems and night riding. Great group to ride with (very diverse and inviting). Became a customer because of the quality of people I was dealing with. Have bought new, made upgrades, repairs, ordered parts, and taken their repair class. Great group all around.

Revolution Cycles is a refreshing, delightful, welcoming bike shop. They emphasize service and custom builds over retail (though they do also sell gear and some stock bikes). They go above and beyond to show you what needs to be done and why and to help educate customers on how to do some of it themselves. (They even offer a bunch of off-season classes on various types of bike skills, like maintenance, bike building, and wheel building.) Everybody there is friendly, funny, and welcoming.

Best LBS in Madison, hands down. They have great people on board who know biking, solid human priorities, the 'must have' ParkTools for sale, and used parts galore in the basement to support people who work on their own bikes.

I had a really positive experience here recently when buying a new bike. The salesman/mechanic, Mitch, was super patient with me as I did not know exactly what I was looking for. It quickly became apparent that he was interested in getting me on the right bike and not just getting me out the door. Low pressure, good information and good guidance. If I didn't know better I could have mistaken him for the owner. ...
