The service at REI is always excellent and the people are always super friendly whenever I go in.

Hello mecca! I'll admit, walking in the door of this warehouse of a store was a bit overwhelming - there is stuff everywhere and it's hard to know where to start. But I dove in and found that while there's a lot of stuff, it's all organized into logical and navigable sections. Every time I've been here, the staff has been excellent at answering questions, offering suggestions and helping me find whatever I need. I spend way too much time (and money) here and I have yet to have a bad experience.

Great outdoor store, friendly welcoming staff, and a great range of equipment. Nice coffee shop to boot.

I travel all around the world quite regularly and whenever I’m in the US I make it a point to find the nearest REI to visit. Sometimes more than once a trip! The Washington DC Flagship Store tops off all of the REI locations I’ve ever been too. And that’s a lot of them! I particularly liked the personal touch of product recommensations by the staff. I’ll be back 😬😜

Went to DC on a weekend getaway with wife. Whatever state or place we visit, always google a location for closest REI. This REI was by far the nicest and biggest Ive been to, surpassing that of SOHO location in NYC. It even had a family picnic area, and a coffee bar. I ended up buying a snow peak mug and lid.
