  One of the few times I've had a spot-on experience at a retail store. Very spacious and clean location and the goods are organized well. Everyone was super helpful and nice but not pushy even though I had walked into the store 10 minutes before the doors were supposed to close. Jessie helped me pick out a pair of soles and took his time to explain all the pros and cons of different types. Minutes before the store closed, I remembered I needed to buy camping fuel. ...

  Drove in from East Bay to try on some climbing shoes which weren't available in many sizes at other locations. The place was really busy at 1045am when I got there! The REI guy was multi-tasking with other customers and took good care of me too, and then took time to answer my questions and advise me well on climbing shoes. It was worth the trip!
