Red Thorn is one of the best tattoo shops I've ever been to. All of the artists are super talented but also very humble and down to earth. The vibe of the shop isn't pretentious or intimidating like a lot of other shops; they're warm and welcoming which made me very comfortable during my first appointment. So far I've only been tattooed by Ryan and I can't speak highly enough of his work. His tattoos are beautiful, he works insanely fast and most days he brings his adorable dog to the shop. What more could you want? I'll be going there for years to come and would absolutely recommend them to everyone I know.

So I originally went to Baltimore to take my daughter to the aquarium but I remember I was looking to get a new tattoo. After looking around what was near me I decided on red thorn tattoo. At first when I got there shiba was at the door ( she guards the door) & Ryna asked what I wanted. Tattoo places kinda make me feel out of place but after a while you loosen up & I was the only one there so I just kinda got super loose. I got a bad ass eagle tattoo & for the money this place is the place to come to if you're into American traditional. Trust me they know what they're doing & have you leaving with a big ass smile on your face.

5 stars , Everyone's friendly |Good vibes here. Not uptight like some shops can be, I came to get a quote for a sleeve tattoo but ended up getting a tattoo for $50 they had a $50 tattoo deal for artscape weekend, I didn't know about it but I came on good day I guess. I'll come back in a few days to discuss my tattoo ideas w an artist.
