  The only vet to go to in TriBeca! Back in December 2016, I got a blue/tan Frenchie. This was my first puppy so I was very nervous over everything, but Reade Street Animal Hospital always answered my questions and provided first class service each and every visit. They make you feel like family and I would trust them with Cole for any issues. Dr Xanthos was so accommodating that she even called me after hours to answer my questions when Cole had a stomach virus. They are timely with their appointments, professional, and trusting. Honestly, amazing service and I love that Cole feels comfortable here! Will never look anywhere else.

  Dr. Xanthos is a treasured and caring animal lover and we who live in Tribeca and downtown are so fortunate to have Reade Street Animal Hospital in our neighborhood! She took such excellent care of our puppy when she was spayed and did a beautiful job surgically. After a few months, the stitches were invisible. Again, when our dog needed emergency surgery, Dr. Xanthos handled everything professionally and wonderfully. We gladly bring her to Dr. Xanthos for her annual exams and trust her with our beloved dog. She has a great deal of experience and good, common sense.

  hands down the best vet in NYC I wouldn't trust my dog with any other Vet. I have been going to Dr. Xanthos for the past ten years. She is very knowledgeable and caring, and always takes the time to explain everything...

  i had a really wonderful visit here for the first time yesterday.
  my cat had suddenly developed unexplained seizures, and after a lifetime of good health i suddenly needed to find him a vet.
  the first place i called i encountered a dismissive, bored woman with a sarcastic tone, the second, reade st hospital, was warm, friendly, and concerned - a soothing reception to my jangled nerves.
  
  in the waiting room there was a very friendly gray cat with pale leaf green eyes and poly toes to keep us company :)
  
  we saw dr. amanda oden and she was genuinely caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable as was her assistant. i felt we were in good hands the entire time and though she ended up referring us to a larger animal hospital (my baby needed to see a neurologist) it was such a wonderfully positive visit i can't recommend them enough.

  Dr. Xanthos is the most caring, amazing, brilliant vet and we only trust our dogs' care to her. We live in FL and travel to NYC to see her. Her advice and care is the only opinion we regard and her expertise and experience are evident in everything she does. She goes above and beyond for her patients and her dedication to the safety and well-being of her patients is incredible. We are so grateful to know her and have her as our VET. THANK YOU DR. XANTHOS!!!!
