  Pulse has changed my life! I started going a few months ago for hip and knee pain that often caused me to not be able to get out of bed. Now, I have absolutely no knee pain and only occasional hip pain. Janaye is wonderful and very calming and the overall space is very relaxing! I recommend Pulse to everyone I talk to. So glad to have found this place in Silver Spring.

  I started seeing Jackie at Pulse based on the reviews on this site - so I wanted to pile on the love! :)
  
  I'd been seeking Western treatments for back, neck/disc, and bilateral elbow issues via cortisone shots, trigger point injections, and physical therapy for the better part of a year, but the pain would come back full force within days. I looked into acupuncture, found out about Pulse (and Jackie) through Yelp, and decided to give it a try. Jackie's treatments (combination of cupping, acupuncture, and moxa) over the last few months have steadily helped me more than all other treatments combined. Not to mention that she is kind, attentive, and intuitive - I absolutely recommend her!!!!

  I started going to Pulse months ago because I had some stress-induced injuries in my neck and joints. In a matter of weeks the major issues were gone, and in months I had no pain at all. I am now exercising daily more intensely than I ever have before and have zero issues in my joints or muscles. I am a total acupuncture convert and highly recommend this practice. Jackie is awesome and knows her stuff. The space is comfortable and relaxing, and they take insurance and also offer community treatments.

  The acupuncturists at Pulse were so amazingly accomodating, friendly, and professional. I was desperate and tried to do a walk in appt and they saw me even though they were closed for the day and even called my insurance for me to see what my coverage would be. I would recommend this clinic and their caring staff to anyone.

  ... After two sessions with Janaye not only did the pain diminish but she was able to return to her normal walking speed. This improvement encouraged me to try a few sessions with Jackie.
  
  I have a torn rotator cuff in my right shoulder and serious bicep tendonitis in my left shoulder. I would be awakened with pain during the night and would have to take a number of naproxen to alleviate it so I could sleep. Changes in weather would also cause me discomfort and pain. Yes I was able to forecast rain. ...
  
  Please if you have any pain issues like my wife and I had; give the women at Pulse a few sessions and you will appreciate the results.
