The Problem Solutions design session was a very thorough process. Mike’s team brought a lot of expertise to the table and we went through the user experience in detail. They were able to identify potential pitfalls and recommend solutions, which enabled us to avoid problems that would have been costly if discovered later.

Problem Solutions’ approach is great for startups. It has an incubator feel. The team gets in the trenches with you and maniacally focuses design on the end user’s story. What are they thinking? What are they feeling? The team is very collaborative and contributes ideas to make the end product the most awesome it can be. They can lead the design phase if you need a turnkey solutions. They are down to earth and great to work with.

“Being a Problem Solutions customer is unlike any experience I've had in my career. They just have this way about how they do their thing… It's smarts, creativity, speed, and honesty all thrown together in this cohesive way. What comes out are these amazing products. After the first meeting, you stop thinking of them as a vendor and start thinking of them as a partner.
Attending a Problem Solutions workshop is a game changer. I remember our first one: Our team walked out of the session with our way of thinking about what we do completely changed. Thinking about them as just a software development company is a total miss classification. They are a think tank with the tools and rock star talent to make your vision come to life."

Mike Hruska was one of two presenters who came to speak at an all day workshop for ASTD Greater Atlanta members on a new learning technology called Tin Can API, also known as Experience API. This learning technology is cutting edge and, as imagined, there was much confusion before the workshop started on what exactly is Tin Can? What can it do? What does it mean to learning and development?

Mike and his cohort, Neil Lasher, used a humorous and knowledgeable approach to dispel any misconceptions about this technology, under development to track learning experiences outside of a formal LMS or training environment and convert the information into useable data. Mike and Neil did a great job of bouncing ideas off each other, sometimes taking opposite views to illustrate to the participants what the true nature of Tin Can really is and what information it can provide as well as some concerns about its use.

The initial feedback from participants indicated that all their initial questions were answered and now they were ready to take back what they had learned to their own workplace, share it, and could speak intelligently about this technology.

Mike is an expert, engaging presenter on Tin Can and Experience API and I highly recommend him to explain how it works and answer the questions you may have about this or any other cutting edge learning technology.
