After being in private practice in Michigan, Dr. Swanson relocated to Texas and received an academic appointment at University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston. She served as an Assistant Professor in the Minimally Invasive Gynecology Division. As a faculty member, Dr. Swanson was an integral part of the teaching service as well as maintained a busy clinical practice. After her relocation to Houston, Dr. Swanson has been honored to be able to return to the private clinical setting, where she now limits her practice to gynecology and women's health. Read more

Dr. Swanson is one of the best doctors I have ever seen. She helped me get pregnant with my son and is always so kind, patient and caring. I cannot day enough good things about her--you won't regret seeing her!

I love Dr. Swanson! I've seen her twice since moving back to Houston. She is such a doll and really makes you feel that you have her undivided attention. She wants to know that you are totally well and literally ANY questions or concerns you have will be tended to. She is easily the best OB I've seen.

Fairly new to Houston, didn't have a clue which GYN to pick, I chose Dr. Swanson and I could not have made a better choice, she made me feel relaxed like I was chatting with a good friend. I would definitely recommend her!

Thankful that I found this place through Yelp. I didn't want to return to my previous OBGYN in the Medical Center because parking is such a hassle and I thought that my visits were always mediocre at best. Preferred Gynecology has easy and free parking so that's already a plus.

Dr Swanson and her team were very friendly and professional. I usually dread visits to the gynecologist but Dr Swanson really listened to me and her bedside manner was faultless. My past experience with these procedures has been 'uncomfortable' at best but this was a different story. I won't be dreading my next visit in a year's time. The staff on the front desk were also extremely helpful, even helping my lost husband find me when his cell phone died! Thank you.
