  My puppy and I both enjoyed our Kinderpuppy 1 class. Katrin is very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions both in and out of class time. When my dog did not respond well to one thing, there was always an alternative method. The homework she provides is critical and I suggest that as a pet owner, you take full advantage of the resources Plucky Puppy provides. Great value!

  I would absolutely recommend Plucky Puppy to anyone looking for a comprehensive and really encouraging course for training puppies. Katrin and her team are excellent at instructing from a place that pairs really thorough explanations of dog behavior with positive reinforcement strategies and lots of feedback to you as you're learning! This made the class engaging and surprisingly fun! I was amazed that after just a few sessions, our very energetic and unfocused puppy has learned so many great skills that have translated into us all living much more comfortably and happily together.   After having our puppy for four weeks and not knowing how to handle her behaviors, I called Katrin. She observed, problem solved, listened and really helped identify the barriers and solutions to our challenges in a professional and individualized manner. We were on the verge of returning our puppy and now can't imagine a day without her thanks to Katrin. After our fantastic one on one experience with Katrin, we signed up for the kinderpuppy class. She is an absolutely wonderful trainer. She individualized the group training and taught us skills to carry us through puppyhood.

  If you are reading this review, you likely have a dog with behaviors that worry you or are driving you nuts. Katrin Greim of Plucky Puppy can undoubtedly give you the guidance you need, and you and your dog will enjoy your time with her. Our dog was a jumper and has fears that caused her to lunge at cars and children. Katrin taught us how to desensitize our dog to those fears, and how to extinguish the jumping and several other behaviors that made our dog hard to live with. Katrin came to our home, worked with both us and our dog each session, and then emailed us notes to remind us of how to keep working toward our goals. It was money well spent, and we now have the tools to better communicate with our dog. I agree with all the other positive comments given to Katrin in the other reviews. It seems like others mainly brought their dogs to Katrin as puppies and she got them off to a good start. Our dog was a poorly socialized rescue dog, and Katrin certainly has been great with her.
