Their routes are very creative and very fun to climb. They provide various courses, from kids program to multipitch climbing class for most types of climbers to improve.

The staff is super friendly. Some of the staff and people bring their super chill craig dogs. The environment is super chill and laid back. The manager is super active on the floor and is always helping people. The place is always clean. The routes never stay on the wall too long. The routes are set in a very even manner. So there are just as many beginner routes as there are advanced. The place is excellent for lead training. The bouldering cave is amazing as well.

They are just great. I live in Pennsylvania now, but I used to live in Ann Arbor. The workers are great, and they help you learn your body’s strength and how to get stronger.

Keeps all of us here in the mitten climbing! Without them we would be in despair ;)

Great gym with great employees! The new bouldering area kicks ass, and the lead walls have cool shapes and lots of great routes to get on. Plus, yoga classes.

I started climbing here the last year of college (early spring of '17) and fell in love with the sport. Since then I have been to 11 other gyms across the country, but mostly the mid-west. Every time I go to a new gym I end up finding a reason to like this gym more. The staff is always happy to help with any questions ranging from beta on a problem to finding the right pair of shoes to places to go climbing outdoors. ...

Overall I would highly recommend it to anyone at any level. If you are brand new they will take care of you and make sure you know what you are doing to stay safe and you still have a blast. ... -

Had my daughters bday here (she turned 5) and the instructors did a great job with the kids. Nice facility, great instructors - would highly recommend for a kids bday party.

In the past year or so that I've been a member, Planet Rock Ann Arbor has really been renovated. New flooring in the main section, completely new bouldering section opened up, AC installed for the summer, lots of newer holds, and they've been changing up top rope and lead routes more consistently. Oh, plus they've started yoga and aerial silks classes!

... Only downside... parking blows and it can get packed since this is one of the only gyms in the area.
