What a cool place! I haven't bouldered in about 20 years and what an awesome place to reconnect for me! Not only were the climbs challenging and different, there was so many choices & so much room, the views are amazing!! The staff was helpful and cheerful. The facility was very clean.

I'm a parent to a competitive rock climber on their climbing team at the SF location. And somehow, despite no one in our family or inner circle familiar with climbing, my 10 y/o is pretty darn good at it. I owe it a lot of it to his coaches on the PG Climbing Team. They are more than willing to show me the ropes (literally) and get me up to speed as to how to best support my climber. They genuinely care about the overall well being of the kids and are more oriented towards improvement, instead of winning. We even chose to have my son's birthday party here and the staff were very patient with the kids who none of which have climbed before. PG SF strives to create community not only with the parents and kids on team, but with all those who access the gym. They do this with community members nights and fun competitions throughout the year. Who knows, they may just win me over and have me following in my 10 y/o's footsteps.

Had my first belay class at Planet Granite SF. It was also my first time climbing. David was very kind, patient, and helpful. When it was my turn to climb, David gave me a lot of good suggestions and I was able to reach the top!
I will be coming back to Planet Granite soon!

Love this place- not just for the awesome walls and bouldering but the staff has always been super helpful. No judgement for beginners or maybe a dumb question😀I did not start this climbing until in my 50's and love it - I drive from Dixon when I can to get my Planet Granite fix😍

So awesome. I went there 3 times in 2 days while visiting from Australia. Everywhere I looked there were climbs I wanted to try, and the view was lovely. Change & locker facilities were also well thought-out. I will definitely go back next time I'm in SF (might even try to book a hotel nearby). The staff were friendly, and even called me a cab and lent me a phone charger when my phone went flat and I was stranded there.
