I hadn't had my hair cut in two years because I was sick of my haircuts only looking good after the stylist straightened or curled it in salon. I'd get home and after the first wash it was clear it wasn't the right cut for my hair texture. I have curly hair and finally did some research a few months back on what I needed in hair care. I started using Deva Curl in the shower and found out about the Deva Cut. Shayla at Pinup in West Seattle gave me the best haircut I've ever had! Not only that but she basically taught me an entire curly girl 101 lesson for two hours, I learned a ton about my hair type, about HOW to use Deva Curl products properly and how to take care of my hair. I'm sold for life, on the curly girl method and Deva Curl and Shayla! Thank you Pinup Salon!

I have been going to Shayla for my Keratin treatment for over a year now. She is awesome! She takes her time and knows a lot about all the products! Very good at what she does! Her cuts are amazing as well!

Shayla is rad, go see her. I went to pinup to get a Deva Cut for my curly mop, and was surprised to be able to get a quick appointment. Shayla is beautiful inside and out, and she gave me full attention during the cut, educating me along the way and showing me how to get my curls to really pop. The cut was gorgeous, and I recently went back to have it shaped up. Second time around, I was heading to the gym then home to color so we skipped the styling, but again the cut was perfect and my curls were popping with the products she sent me out the door with. Bonus, she's not pushy with products or judgy about my DIY color. She's fun to chat with and clearly knows her stuff!

Two of my friends recommended Mollie and I am so thankful they did. I have received endless compliments since she started doing my hair. In addition to being wildly talented, Mollie is a generous, fun, cool and kind person! She even helped me solve a food allergy issue for my son which is life changing for him. Mollie is amazing, and anyone who gets to work with her is all the better for it.

My friend and I went in for make up lessons with Jen. The salon is super cute business tucked away in Alki neighborhood of Seattle. Jen taught us the fundamentals of make up colors and applications. She had us practice on ourself. She offered us options for everyday wear and evenings out. Most importantly she spent time explaining appropriate brushes and make up products to use. She made lists and handouts for us to take with us. Having a make up lesson was something I had wanted to do for a long time, but thought it may not be worth it. I learned so much from Jen's experience and skills. It was a fun thing to do with a friend for the afternoon.
