Profile

I started my musical studies at the age of six in classical piano at the Ternopil Music School in Ukraine. Later I continued my journey in S. Krushelnytska Ternopil Music College received which I graduated with a qualification of Piano Teacher, Artist of the Chamber Ensemble, Concertmaster and received a Diploma in Classical Piano. In 2009 I graduated from Odessa Music Conservatory in Ukraine and later was accepted to a graduate school of Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts where I received a Master Degree of Musical Arts and obtained the qualification of the Teacher of Piano Class, Artist of the Chamber Ensemble, and Concertmaster.

Now I have been teaching piano for over 17 years. My students range from 5 years old to 50+ years old and levels from a "first time see piano" to advanced players.

I also performed in concerts and competitions as a soloist and a concertmaster. Read more

Gaylna has been teaching our two girls (now ages 9 and 12) for a couple of years and we've been very pleased with progress. Galyna's approach emphasizes good technique & posture, practicing habits, and attention to musical nuance, all of which were important to us. I have been taking weekly piano lessons with Galyna since the beginning of 2016. Galyna is a great teacher, who is encouraging and understanding. Her teaching is a well balanced combination of technique, theory and musical expression. ... I'm very fortunate to have Galyna as my teacher, and I highly recommend her to anyone who is planning to take piano lessons.

My son has been taking piano lessons with teacher Galyna for 6 months and is always looking forward for the next lesson. Galyna has such great teaching techniques and is always working so patiently to see the best in her students! She has also great communication skills ! I highly recommend her !
