We deliver at nearby Baptist Hospital. With 24-hour access to anesthesia and the highest level of newborn care, patients can welcome their babies in a comfortable and safe environment.
In recent years, we have seen the rate of cesarean sections skyrocket, especially here in South Florida. While a cesarean section is sometimes needed for the safety of the mother or of the unborn child, we believe that a vaginal delivery provides many important benefits. These may include a quicker recovery time, decreased bleeding, decreased infection, and decreased the risk of injury to organs with surgery. For this reason, we continue to offer delivery by VBAC for appropriate patients. We also offer External Cephalic Version or ECV, a procedure that involves turning a breech baby approaching the due date, in an effort to avoid a cesarean delivery. Read more

Wonderful practice! All of the staff from the doctor's to the office personnel are absolutely amazing. Wait time is minimal and staff is easily accessible for questions or concerns.

If you are in need of a doctor, I wouldn't hesitate to schedule an appointment with Dr. Karsenti. Her Professionalism and kindness is reflected as soon as she walks into the examining room. She listens to your concerns and needs. More importantly she shows true compassion and love for her patients and devotes herself to their well being!

One feels very welcome and helped from all members of staff. Throughout my pregnancy all three doctors were excellent Dr. Karsenti, Dr. Apollon, and Dr. Pelaez who delivered my son, he will be 2 years in June. Dr. Pelaez was amazing and we were so blessed to have her deliver our little one. I now go for my regular OBYN visit and Dr. Karsenti made me feel so comfortable and was very helpful and knowledgeable.

I have been a patient of this clinic for about 10 years now. Everyone in the office is very nice, courteous and most importantly professional. The appointment wait time has always been very reasonable for me. The most I have ever waited I believe has been 30 minutes.

... I recently had the pleasure of meeting her partners Dr. Karsenti & Dr. Peleaz in the last few months. When you move from Gynecology to Obstetrics they will rotate and make you see all three doctors because they can't guarantee which one of the three will deliver your baby. I'm absolutely in love with the practice! All the doctors are amazing and highly professional. Even with a pregnancy complication they made sure to explain the problem without scaring me or over-worrying me. I've made it to full term - even at risk of preterm labor and am now awaiting the birth of my baby girl.
