  Amazing service! David tried hard, I believe, to schedule me in within 24 hours of my call.
  I was not looking forward to lugging my large printer/copier to his office and was delighted when he offered to come to my home. He assessed my issue and instructed me on how to get a replacement, as it is unfixable at any reasonable cost.
  David is professional, informative, and very fair in his pricing.
  I will be happy to call him for any future issues with computers or accessories.

  Fantastic service. I recently moved and when I tried to set up my older desktop computer at my new place, it wouldn't boot up. I checked Yelp and found PCMatix with high reviews and only a short drive away from my new place. ... Amazing. I cannot say enough about the friendly, swift, and competent service I received. My computer issues may have been pretty minor in the whole scheme of things, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend PCMatix to anyone I know with computer issues going forward. I have faith in their knowledge and their level of service is great. Highly recommend.

  PCMatix is by far the best experience I have ever had in getting my computer fixed up. David was very kind, professional and prompt in providing these services. I won't be going back to any other place as long as I live in Chicago.

  Very impressed with PcMatix...they just recently helped me out of a fairly major bind. My laptop lost its internet connectivity, and I needed it back up and running as soon as possible so I could submit some assignments for a couple of online classes I'm taking. I didn't get the gentleman's name who helped me, but he quickly diagnosed the problem, recommended a fix (one that never would have occurred to me), and helped me install it -- all on a day when they were not even officially open!
  
  I appreciate not only his expertise but his friendliness -- no condescending "geekier-than-thou" attitude here, which goes a long way with me. I gave him my lucky $2 bill as part of my payment -- he deserves it.

  I walked into this place a couple years ago, thought it was computerproschicago, I was wrong, their entrance must be in the back or not signed very well. Anyway, Glad I walked into PCMatix they identified the problem on the spot, just needed to buy a part of the computer that was no longer working. I was relieved at the time that they didn't take advantage of me over something they easily could have. They seemed very honest and reliable, good business.
