Pawsitive Pauls Dog Training
Paul Sheinberg

Pet training

Paul Sheinberg, Pawsitive Paul's founder and primary dog trainer, has worked with all manner of canines from Teacup Poodles to Great Danes. Although he wouldn't train both those breeds in the same manner, certain things will always remain the same. Paul's classes are fun, interactive, hands-on and perfect for all ages. The series of classes Paul teaches start with the basics, and by the end of the series, your pooch (and you) will know anywhere from 10-12 different commands. Our classes also help with extinguishing any unwanted behavior like chewing on the furniture, barking, potty training and leash pulling. The classes run for around 45 minutes to an hour and we meet once a week. Pawsitive Paul's has new classes running all the time, and they are truly affordable. Paul has appeared numerous times on Fox's Good Day Baltimore taking viewers calls and emails and demonstrating various pet behaviors. (They really just wanted Paul's Australian Shepherd, Jeda, to appear on the show but they were kind enough to let Paul tag along as well.) Read more

Took his basic obedience class and have used him twice for private sessions. Great experience every time! Love the positive techniques, and he explains dog behavior really well. It's really made a difference in my dog's behavior.

My husband and I w Paul's training was really helpful for our dog Rocky. He was a 15 month old rescue at the time and this group training really helped teach us and our dog some basic techniques that we could reinforce at home. After each session, Paul would send weekly notes to us as a follow up and was always just an email or phone call away if we had a question. We would highly recommend Pawsitive Paul's Dog Training!

Paul came to our house, and immediately connected with our four-month old Pomsky. He is a natural with dogs, but really breaks everything down so owners can understand what their dog needs and how they can go about having a healthy, fun and productive relationship. Paul was energetic, patient and very down to earth. Had great communication and a great attitude. Oh, and by the way, I'm already noticing changes in our pup. I definitely recommend him.

We did Paul's beginner class and it was excellent both for us and our puppy! We couldn't have asked for more: our puppy got notably better at following commands during the duration of the class, and she always had a great time (every time she realized where we were going she'd sprint towards the door). Definitely a great experience both to teach our puppy, and to teach us how to teach our puppy!
