This is a late review, but I definitely wanted to give Susan and her team a good review.

My dog, Charlie, attended their Puppy Camp for several weeks. We also took their Puppy Kindergarten. Puppy Camp reinforced the commands we learned in kindergarten and provided the repetition I could not provide during the day. I would drop Charlie off in the morning and a staff member would take him home and put him in his kennel while I was at work. ...

We highly recommend Susan as the expert trainer that she is. We had enrolled in another puppy training but decided to see what Paws4Training had to offer and we are so glad we did. The small class size enabled Susan to focus on each puppy and help each owner learn skills to train their dog. Her positive approach was perfect for our pup who seemed to be having some "resource guardian" issues. We also enrolled her in puppy day camp which was the smartest thing we ever did. Spending 4 mornings a week with Bryan gave her a training fast track and embedded positive behaviors that remain today. We then went on to Middle School and Beyond Basics. We would have remained in training forever because it was so beneficial and so much fun. As her puppy impulsivity declines, we will all go back for Canine Good Citizen certification. Thanks to Susan and Bryan, we have a 9-month old puppy who does not pull on walks, who sit/down/stays on command, and very importantly waits at an open door for us to say "ok" before she goes out. Eternal thanks!

We couldn't be happier with our experiences with Paws4Training. At six months, our pup, Alfie, is totally socialized and well behaved, and we owe a lot of that to Paws. Susan, Brian and Mia are experienced, caring and knowledgable--and Alfie loves them all. We chose to do both the Puppy Day Camp as well as Puppy Kindergarten, and now we have continued on to Middle School. Having that consistent training has been terrific, and all the programs build on each other. Here's a breakdown of the different classes we've taken: ...

We brought our leash reactive and overexcitable dog Kona to Paws4Training for the Growly Dog class. Susan taught us how to redirect Kona's attention when we are out on walks to reduce the reactive behavior. We did this in a class setting with other reactive dogs, all hidden from each other behind covered barriers. Having the other reactive dogs in class was super valuable because Susan could see the exact reactions and give us instant feedback. We eventually let the dogs see one another and practiced their new skills at various distances. We are very grateful for Susan and this class, as we finally have seen improvement with Kona on walks. We still have our issues, but they occur less often. We look forward to seeing continued improvement!
