Park East is staffed with a team of highly trained veterinarians and technicians, whose medical skills are regularly updated and expanded through continuing education and seminars. When needed, board certified orthopedists, dermatologists, neurologists, and ophthalmologists are called upon for consultations as well as specialized surgery, supplementing the expertise of our resident staff.
We maintain a technician on duty 24 hours a day for after-hour emergency calls and nursing support. Our technicians answer your questions and relay messages to one of our veterinarians who will respond promptly. Read more

Dr. Cavanaugh was patient and fantastic for getting help quickly. Staff was kind and the facilities seemed clean. Conveniently located next to the 72nd street Q line elevators.

I am so happy with my vet, Dr. Cavanaugh. I actually followed him from another vet. I've been going to him for almost 5 years now (and continue to travel to him from Brooklyn). I have two dogs, both 11+ years old. One of my dogs has very bad allergies, prior to Park East, I had taken him to about five + other vets and no one could offer a solution (outside of allergy testing which was lots of $$) - Dr. C suggested a medicine and my dog is a 10000% better. I really trust him and never find that he suggests unnecessary tests/treatments (something I've found many other vets do).

When my dog needed emergency care I called around a few places on the ues to see what my options were. Park East was the only place that put me directly in touch with the doctor on the phone even if it was after hours so I could discuss my dogs condition prior to coming in. Dr. Levine was kind and patient on the phone and his warm, genuine attitude was the number one reason I decided on this place, and I'm glad I did. The staff was caring and sweet. Everyone was pleasant even though it was late. Dr. Levine took good care of Olive and recommended the best steps to get her feeling better right away but without spending money frivolously.

I'd recommend dr. Levine and the staff over at Park East any day. Good quality care, nice facility, super convincente location.
I don't leave many reviews but Dr. Levine exceeded expectations and deserve the praise.

... Today, I had an emergency visit with Park East because our vet was not available. Krystal took my call with such warmth and diligence. She quickly contacted my vet as she was leaving her office and was able to obtain his medical records.

We were immediately seen by Dr, Cavanagh who thoroughly examined Winston, like it was his own puppy, with gentleness, expertise and patience. He gave me several tips on how to assess dehydration that I was grateful to learn. This was truly a doctor who cares both about his furry patients and their care takers, providing an experience of education and support, combined with sincere love and compassion.
I am extremely grateful and fortunate to know that Winston was cared for by such a dedicated, professional and highly trained team! Thank you immensely Dr Cavanagh and Krystal for seeing Winston on such short notice and making our day joyful!
