... I came back to find a PERFECTLY fixed side table. The top finish matched the bottom unscathed drawer and the grain on the wood looked 100% unscathed, grain as it was originally. ... I would 100% recommend Oscar's Furniture Refinishing. Not only was the job well done and beyond expectation, Oscar is just a really really nice guy. He saw that I had interest in looking around his studio so he gave me a tour of his place despite having work to do. I really appreciate his honesty and how much care he put into his work. I am a designer in LA and had a project over Xmas with a crazy short time frame - I needed to refinish a giant kitchen island (5'x10') to make it "antiqued", quick. Based on Yelp reviews alone, I hired Oscar and took a chance - a big one!!! If he had not been the consummate professional he is, it could have been a disaster. Now the island is the showcase of the kitchen - instead of the eyesore!!! Gorgeous! He has also recently stepped in to save me when a barn door I had ordered arrived unfinished! He made it happen, and again the door is now the awesome focal point of the room! Oscar is definitely "as good as it gets" - he is calm and professional, easy to communicate with, fair, and above all, an artist!!
