I don't write many Yelp reviews. But these folks are top notch when it comes to the selection of frames they carry.

Being candid: I was tired of buying cheap, $95 frames that last a year before they seem to go hell. This was the reason I set out to find a shop in SF that sells Moscot - a quality, time tested product. OPT is the only optometry shop in the city that sells the brand and I figured I'd pop in after work.

20 minutes later, Todd had picked out the perfect pair, priced them out with my VSP insurance and helped to tighten the frames I was currently wearing.

It was a seamless, painless experience and I'll most definitely be recommending them to anyone in the city looking for high quality product and service.

I was absolutely thrilled with the service and skill of the staff at OPT. I was terrified to get my first ever formal eye exam and from the moment I told them they took things slow and were extremely patient. Nothing was nearly as scary or painful as I expected, but my worry/relief resulted in my first-ever acute panic attack/near-fainting spell, surrounded by strangers. Fortunately the OPT staff didn't actually feel like strangers - they assured me that they've had fainters before, gave me water, let me hang out for a while, and sent me happily on my way once I was back to normal. I really liked everyone I interacted with there and would highly recommend them to anyone!

I love Dr. Tawil. I've been meaning to write a review for a long time.
I've purchased Salt brand glasses here once and had a great experience with the staff. My prescription was accurate and the staff really chose the correct frames for my face shape and style. This is hugely helpful if you're indecisive like me. I obv received many compliment on them and have referred a few friends over.

I still come here for eye exams and contacts and the experience with Dr. Tawil is always painless and pleasant. I once tried another optometrist out of convenience since moving out of SF. Never again.

The service here is the best!!! I've inadvertantly followed the folks that run this place from another eye glasses store: they were amazing there and still are here! For one, they put up with me (I can be a picky, but appreciative customer). Secondly, despite some challenges with the lenses I ordered last, they tirelessly worked to get them exactly the way I wanted at no extra cost, were extremely communicative and even worked with me and my budget for the original cost. There customer service really is there best, hands down.

Wonderful service! When I was looking for new glasses, Todd made me an espresso and picked out 12-13 frames that he thought fit my face shape. We whittled down the choices to four, more closely compared them, and then further narrowed to two options. By the time I made my final decision, about 10 minutes total had passed from start to finish. It was the most pleasant eyeglass shopping experience I've had, and I ended up with what are probably the frames I've been most happy with in my life as a corrective lens wearer. And the experience essentially repeated itself a year later when I went in for new sunglasses.
