  Octopus home inspections was on time, thorough, knowledgeable and friendly. I felt like Chris inspected our home as if it was his own. His pride in his job really shows and I will recommend him to any one that ask for a professional home inspector.

  We cannot say enough about Chris and how much integrity he has! He made availability for us the same week I called to schedule. At the inspection, he was very thorough and you could tell he takes great pride in what he does. The report itself was received promptly following the inspection and was was easy to follow. It is organized perfectly into sections we could understand and base the needed repairs on without any need for clarification. He didn't miss a thing! Very clear photos and video included with narration to explain exactly what was going on. We would definitely use him again and highly recommend his services!! Very happy customers

  I find Chris to be extremely thorough with his inspections. I am a real estate agent and have worked with Chris many times - he's always done a great job. Recently, I needed an inspection done on my own home purchase, and Chris was who I chose to hire.

  Chris was very thorough with the home inspection he performed for me. He was very friendly and showed me any areas of concern throughout the course of the inspection. When the inspection was done he gave me a comprehensive and detailed report within hours of finishing the inspection. I would highly recommend Chris for others, and will look to work with Chris in the future for any home inspections. 5 star service all around!

  Chris Barry is a terrific home inspector. He cares a lot about his customers and getting reliable information to them about a home they are buying. He is able to speak truthfully about a homes condition without alarming people UNLESS they should be alarmed and consider withdrawing from a purchase. I'm a real estate agent and insist that my buyers select their inspector but I'm delighted to recommend Octopus Home Inspections. Chris will take lots of time with buyers to answer questions and explain his findings. He really earns his fee and doesn't rush off to the next appointment.
