We specialize in obstetrical care for both low-risk and high-risk patients. This includes patients with multiple gestations, pregnancies after age 40, the athletic patient, and women who have had infertility concerns. We deliver exclusively at Northwestern’s Prentice Women’s Hospital.
Our gynecological expertise includes the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of a myriad of disorders, including the abnormal Pap smear, irregular bleeding patterns, uterine fibroids, and incontinence. We embrace caring for women from adolescence through menopause. Our state of the art surgical suite allows us to provide patients with cutting-edge minimally invasive procedures such as uterine ablation and hysteroscopic permanent sterilization in the comfort of our office. Pregnant with my second baby and I love all the nurses and Doctors that work here. The Office staff is always so nice and goes above and beyond! the on call Doctors always calls back within 5 minutes. Highly recommend.

I couldn't be happier with the care and support I received from Dr. Dugan Kim and the team at Northwestern Specialists for Women throughout my pregnancy. I knew from the beginning that I wanted a natural birth with minimal medical intervention, BUT I also wanted to deliver at Prentice knowing that my baby and I would be in the best hands if something went wrong. Dr. Dugan Kim was incredibly supportive of this plan throughout my pregnancy and made sure our birth plan was achievable and communicated. ...

I never had any major issues with waiting for appointments. I put them all in my calendar 15 minutes early and made sure I was ALWAYS on time. -

Frankly, I am SHOCKED that this practice has received even 1 bad review. I have been going to Dr. Salasche for 10 years and wouldn't dream of going to anyone else. I have referred so many of my friends to this practice, and none of them would turn back. I recently went through fertility treatments when my condition was a bit too complicated for a general OB/GYN, so I went to Northwestern Fertility (shout-out to Dr. Confino who trained Dr. Wu at this practice). I am now pregnant and back with Dr. Salasche, and am so relieved. ... Honestly, you cannot go wrong here- I am the most anal person when it comes to my health and pregnancy, and I would never go anywhere else.

I recently moved to the area and was due for an annual exam. I happen to live in the Domain which is in the same building as this clinic but as always, I wanted to check out their reviews on Yelp prior to scheduling my appointment. Seems like there are some mixed reviews but I had a great experience.

I called on a Monday morning and was able to get in on Wednesday afternoon. I saw Dr. Venkatachalam aka Dr. V and I really can't say enough fabulous things about her. She was very personable and through during the entire exam. She acted as though my health was the upmost important thing to her and I appreciated that. I'm not a huge fan of going to any type of doctor but I will definitely be seeing Dr. V on a yearly basis.
