After earning her degree in Horticulture, Dorothy branched out to learn more about flower arranging. She gained certificates in floral design from hands-on classes at the Bronx Botanical Gardens and added a fresh floral area to the shop.
Forty years later, Dorothy's shop is still going strong. It is now located in the financial district of Jersey City at Exchange Place. Dorothy works daily at the shop and is always ready to answer questions about a plant or flower care. Read more

Dotty did an amazing job for our party! Before we met with her at her shop in Exchange Place, we emailed her a picture of a centerpiece (flowers and candles) that we liked. We met within a week, and Dotty constructed a sample that nearly mimicked the picture. We were surprised at how similar it was to our vision! We still requested some changes, which Dotty incorporated without question. She was so helpful and responsible throughout the process. I want to thank Dotty so much for making the most beautiful wedding bouquet for me! She is very nice and talked all the detail with me through emails before our wedding, from what kind of flowers I love and what kind of style I want. And one day before our wedding, she arranged the bouquet for me and let me giving any revise suggestions. And I cannot describe how happy I am when I get the bouquet. Noah's Ark has always done a beautiful job for me. They are my go to florist for every occasion! They created the most beautiful flowers for my wedding as well as my sister's wedding. They also provided flowers for many wakes and funerals. They have always provided great service and their prices are so reasonable! The creativity in colors and textures as well as my wishes were taken into account when creating each arrangement. I would recommend Noah's Ark Florist to everyone!
