Next Adventure is a great outdoor shop in the heart of SE Portland. They have 3 floors of all the backpacking, skiing, backcountry, hiking and camping gear that you will ever need. The employees are friendly and love what they do and are always helpful. Looking for used gear? The basement is a gold mine of lightly used and reasonably-priced gear. Check it out!

Fantastic for seasonal gear. Great variety of brands, and knowledgeable staff to help you learn about each brands pros and cons. Used gear selection is superb. If you want to sell your gear, they can help. Just be sure to get your gear there before the changing seasons otherwise it’s not worth much.

I recommend Next Adventure to everyone looking for ski or snowboard rentals. They've got a great set up downstairs for rentals as well as tuning and waxing. Additionally they have a big selection of used gear for people looking to make their first purchase into the sport, but don't necessarily want to break the bank. When the employees help you out, they will literally go above and beyond - I had one stay with me for almost an hour figuring out the best set up for the coming season.

I love this place! The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The prices and selection make it a one stop shop plus I never fail to score a treasure in the bargain basement. Today, it was KHUL jeans with the tags still on for $30. Bam!

The basement is full of great equipment for very cheap, plus you can sell goods for a good deal! The employees are very helpful and knowledgeable. The store has a rock table to test out sleeping pads and bags. They have just about everything you'd need to gear up for any adventures you can come up with.

Busted both my Marker Kingpin binding and Seth in the warranty department did an outstanding job at getting my gear fix. Great customer service and fantastic communication. Love finding a shop that doesn’t have an attitude and gets after it. Thanks for the quick turn around. Heck, they even found time to get my skies waxed and tuned as well. Thanks Kyle for knocking that out and doing an awesome job. I can see why Next Adventure does a lot of business in Portland. Good customer service and a lot of product on the floor. Keep up the great work.

Disc golfer here. Came in to pick up 1 new disc...an hour later and after holding no less than a dozen discs I finally made it to checkout. The great selection from all of the major disc brands made it very hard to pick just 1. Now that's a problem I'm glad to have. Keep up the good work.
