I am THRILLED that I found Toby! She is a supportive, patient, enthusiastic, compassionate, and knowledgeable teacher, among other wonderful professional and personal characteristics. I've made great progress after only a few months working with Toby. Not only has she taught me vocal exercises and songs, but also she has worked with me to correct many unhealthy speaking habits that cause strain on my vocal chords. My lessons with Toby have made a great positive impact on my life. I highly recommend her for music lessons!

I've only had two voice lessons so far with Toby. They have both been fantastic, and I'm confident that I will learn a lot through working with her. ... It is clear that she has extensive training, and I feel lucky to get to learn from her. She is kind, enthusiastic, and non-judging, and creates a very welcoming environment to learn in. She is responsive and easy to schedule lessons with.

Toby is nothing short of fantastic. She has been teaching violin to our 3.5 year old for several months. I played violin for 9 years myself, learned via Suzuki method, and was concert master in high school. Toby is so patient, fun and effective at getting our boy to learn the key prerequisite skills. In fact, he just "graduated" from learning on a pretend cardboard box violin (great idea for young children) and is now ready to start on a real violin!
