I started this journey looking for a curly hair specialist because for obvious reasons, and I came to Muse almost on a fluke. Marci doesn't just know curly hair SHE KNOWS HAIR!!!! She cut it wet and dry and if you have curly hair you understand. This experience was amazing. Marci is not simply a hairdresser, she's is an artist,! No really, I am an artist I would know!! it's an experience just to watch her work. She has a passion for what she does and it comes across in her work. The salon is gorgeous, quaint, and feels like an artists studio and she works it by herself, no other hairdressers. Such a personal experience... Marci and her assistant Kennedy made me feel so special in this salon of one. Her knowledge of craft is incomparable. Her personality is fabulous, not to mention she is beautiful. You know that saying " don't trust a skinny chef" well .... I felt like I was in great hands .... Marci is the real deal! I LOVE MY HAIR! Thank you Marci

Cannot recommend Marci enough. I moved to Sacramento 8 months ago and after trying out 3 others, nobody could get the white blonde I so wanted. She did it. She is immaculate and spends whatever time is needed to get you what you want. Beautiful loft style salon. Best salon experience here for sure. Thanks Marci, I love my hair!

Kristina is truly a master of color, and her haircuts are so good that I don't have spend hours each morning with a bunch of different styling tools. A blow dryer and a brush, and it all falls into place. A true pro, and always a joy to visit with!

Love the place so much! Christopher did an amazing job with my hair. I had to grow out my hair for my upcoming nuptials. It was becoming hard to tame and ridiculously heavy. I needed a cut that would make my hair feel light and easy to manage AND allow me to continue to grow it out. Christopher is a miracle worker and restored my hair so I could run my fingers through it again! He's so awesome! The space is so gorgeous and chic. I love the original brick work. It may look super upscale and can appear intimidating, but everybody there was so NICE and outgoing! From the girl who checked me in to my stylist. I loved the mirrors on the opposite stations so that when you spin your chair, you see another perspective of your hair and you. haha I'm being a bit narcissistic, but that hair cut seriously made me feel confident and made me feel great! Thanks Christopher and the Muse staff!

Wow. First of all, what a beautiful salon + super welcoming and amazing team!
I'm a recent transplant from the east coast, and finding someone to handle my hair was one of the things I feared most about being in a new city. At home my best friend was my stylist, so some high expectations ;)

Located on R street, I was lucky to meet my stylist Jack as he was walking by my work.

Jack did some fantastic color work, hair cut and blow out for me. He is super patient and provides an excellent consult to to fully understand your wants plus to manage your expectations. He is also very careful to maintain the integrity of your hair.

My hair turned out beautifully. Pop colors are super challenging especially grays. I have gorgeous steely dark blue hair complemented by a VS model style blow out.

Thanks Jack! Can't wait til next time.

PS. the shop dog Junebug is ADORABLE
