Meadows is a great place to get your altitude on! Head up there on weekdays to get lots of untracked runs on un-crowded slopes!

Where to begin, I’ll start with childcare. Top notch employees in the childcare! My daughter loves everyone in there and enjoys her time while hanging out
Concierge is friendly, fast and thorough for any of your needs
The lifties are pleasant and love the best run tips they offer
Lastly, the ski school. The check in crew is amazing! So nice! The instructors do such a great job, even with a three year old!! Especially Nate, so impressed with his teaching ability and patience with my daughter.
Thank you meadows, another year on your hill and you never disappoint!

Meadows Rocks! Most varied terrain on Hood. Above tree line, parks, steeps, cliffs, great tree runs, and a brand new beginner lift for the first timers. Six high speed quads for everyone else.

    We love Meadows!
Rental lines are organized and well run. You fill out your form on the computer including your name, birth date and other info then print your form and sign. Take your form to the next area to pay (for the rental and lift tickets), next stop is for shoes and next for skis or snowboards. All of the info is recorded on your sheet so if you come back to the next day, they know what gear to give you. Likewise, return is easy and since everything is recorded, there isn't really the need to "check back in", you just return the equipment and they take care of the rest.
Food in the lodge is decently good - a nice assortment too. Their homemade soup was better than expected as was their homemade cookies.
What really stood out at Mt. Hood Meadows was the ski lessons for my kids. The instructors (Jay and Rocky) were fabulous! Both were very patient and great with the kids. They made a first time experience very memorable and enjoyable for my kids.
The best customer service in the industry, bar-none!
The full day lift ticket was very reasonable for an adult, but I'm not sure that is any different than any other ski resort.

Mt Hood Meadows is so much more then just a ski area it's a place to create some of the greatest memories you will ever have with family and friends. Add to that the incredible customer service that they provide their guests and the most varied ski terrain in Oregon and you have a world class resort only 60 miles from Portland! With multiple dining areas at the base and on the mountain you can find just the right food for your snow filled excursion.

was a ski racer with MASRA in the 90s. we practiced all over meadows, then would build forts and have snowball fights at our locker room building near the base of cascade. it was some of the funnest memories of my childhood. especially cause us kids were fearless, and could do any trail, even weave through the trees to switch trails. meadows had the best everything on mt hood
