Michael Jordan is the full package! We couldn’t be happier with our daughter’s test scores! Michael is a wealth of knowledge and engages easily with high school kids. From our first meeting and throughout the process, his plan was strategic, efficient and effective. My daughter’s scores were pretty lopsided initially so they were able to focus on her weaknesses. Instead of spending time in a classroom reviewing every subject, my daughter was able to schedule meetings in our home and at times that were best for her. This worked well with her busy extracurricular schedule. Michael was not a big believer in unnecessary practice if my daughter already understood a concept. The sessions and practice were truly individualized to meet her needs. Michael helped her become more confident and consistent in her test taking. She was able to achieve results that should help her receive scholarships from her desired colleges. Thank you, Michael, for being so great at what you do and for making this preparing for college process doable!

THE BEST!! The difference factor with MJ College Prep is the individualized plan and one-to-one tutoring. Not only did it allow our daughter to work at her own pace with no distractions, it also made her more confident in her test taking abilities. June scores just came out and we could not have asked for a better outcome- she far exceeded her goals in every topic.

Top notch, quality tutors at MJ Prep! Our teen took the ACT in October. Then completed 4 SAT prep sessions and 2 ACT prep sessions with Peter Unterstein. He performed well on his first SAT effort in January and improved his ACT by 5 points in February! This progress elevated him to the second tier of merit scholarships at his college of choice!!! We purchased 8 sessions and will complete the two remaining over the summer for one more go at the ACT (and possibly the SAT) to hopefully get two more ACT points (and some additional scholarship money). Love that the tutors come to you and we were able to coordinate 2 hour in home sessions despite very busy academic and athletic schedules. Sessions before school, after school, and weekends. Peter was very engaging, adapting to our son's learning style and took the time to understand what motivates him as a person. The work required between sessions was very reasonable for an already busy time of year. The pre in-home assessment completed by Michael yielded invaluable information to help us as parents understand the process and equipped us to make informed decisions moving forward. Overall very positive experience!! Thank you Michael Jordan Test Prep and Peter. Your work with our teen is going to pay dividends several times over.

Not only does he come to your home in a one-on-one setting with your child, he has an incredible talent of connecting with young adults and makes learning fun and positive! He was an integral part of raising her SAT 250 points in just a few visits! She had to do the work but Michael broke it down so it was manageable!! Not only does my daughter think that Michael Jordan is the coolest smart person she knows (her own words), but the work he did with our daughter tremendously raised her PSAT scores (National Merit Commended) and ACT scores. Michael was professional, spot on in his work with our daughter and she did everything he asked without a single complaint. We have referred many, many people to Michael. Hired Direction Tutors after a raving review from one of our friends who worked with Michael and saw huge results.... After 6 2 hour sessions with Michael my daughter took the ACT and improved her score by 5 points...Her confidence and excitement going into the test was refreshing and exciting...We did a mass ACT class the first time with no results.....Michael dives in and seems to adapt to the students learning level...I have recommended him 3 times and all with similar results!!...
