Abby and Jody aren't only talented dancers, they are great teachers and wonderful human beings. They are very welcoming and inclusive. The west coast swing classes are taught in a delightful atmosphere, and for the advanced ones, the topics they teach can be adapted according to the students' suggestions (how awesome is that ?!?). The social nights (the first Saturday of each month) are always fun and beginner-friendly (and everyone dances with everyone else, regardless of the level, and that's how we progress so fast !). They are definitely my new dance family :D

West Coast Swing finally has a home in Baltimore City! They do other dance styles as well, but I've only done WCS here.

Ministry of Swing was the was the catalyst which got me interested in dancing. I went to their opening night at the Ideal and got hooked.

I've been taking classes from Jody and Abby for... maybe two years now? West Coast Swing has become one of my main hobbies as a result. I really appreciate that they teach musicality and principles in addition to technique. They are very supportive, and committed to both the local community and the dance community.

Abby and Jody are truly talented instructors who will fine-tune your technique while keeping class light-hearted. Great for beginners or experienced dancers alike.
